Introduction

EMG Biofeedback Stimulation Device is a rehabilitation device that combines biofeedback technology and electrical stimulation. It collects weak electromyographic signals from patients and converts them into visual/auditory feedback to guide patients to actively control muscle contraction (cognitive relearning). At the same time, it combines electrical stimulation to assist muscle function training and rebuild damaged neuromuscular pathways. It is mainly used for rehabilitation of limb motor dysfunction and pelvic floor dysfunction caused by stroke, brain injury, etc.

Working Principle

Signal Acquisition: The instrument captures weak electromyographic (EMG) signals generated during voluntary muscle contractions via surface electrodes.

Signal Processing and Feedback: The instrument amplifies and processes the EMG signals, converting them into light bars, numbers, or sounds on a screen, allowing the patient to intuitively perceive the tension/contraction level of their muscles.

Training and Stimulation: Guided by feedback signals, the patient actively attempts to contract or relax their muscles (cognitive relearning). When a preset threshold is reached, the instrument simultaneously outputs low-intensity electrical stimulation, stimulating muscle contraction and assisting in training, forming a closed loop of "intention-signal-feedback-stimulation-contraction."

Functional Reconstruction: This actively participated training utilizes brain plasticity to help patients rebuild neural pathways and restore voluntary motor function.

Main Functions

Neuromuscular Function Recovery: Helps patients with hemiplegia and central nervous system injury regain limb motor control.

Assistive Exercise: "Understanding side leads the affected side" for passive to active transition training.

Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation: Used for pelvic floor muscle dysfunction, postpartum rehabilitation, etc., improving problems such as urinary incontinence.

Promoting Blood Circulation: Electrical stimulation can improve local blood circulation and relieve pain.

Features

Combination of active and passive modes: Transforms traditional passive electrical stimulation into a rehabilitation mode where patients actively participate and consciously control the process.

Intelligent Feedback: Real-time monitoring and adaptive parameter adjustment prevent over-fatigue.

Wide Application: Not limited to limbs, but also applicable to pelvic floor rehabilitation.
