Definition
The stretching technology takes advantage of the external force (manpower or mechanical/electrical equipment) to stretch the shortening or contracture tissue to prolong it, and take slight exercises exceeding the tissue resistance and within the range of joint motion. The therapy is aimed to obtain the extensibility of the soft tissue around the joint, decrease the muscle, improve and recover the activity range of the joint.
